A Decade in Healthcare

Today marks a significant milestone for me.

It has been ten years since I began my journey in healthcare, starting as a nursing aide. Over this period, I have progressed to become a licensed vocational nurse and then a registered nurse. While I have ample reasons to commemorate this achievement, my celebration today goes beyond just this career milestone.

I am embracing a new chapter in my life and career. For months, I have been diligently working on establishing a business focused on creating content for individuals like myself—those who have dedicated many years to their professions yet seek a fresh direction.

Having spent years at the bedside, I’ve had the privilege of numerous transformative experiences and the chance to serve others, but I now feel that this path is not where I will achieve true fulfillment. My feelings are shaped by various factors; some are clear, while others remain somewhat ambiguous. I hope that pursuing a different career will provide me with greater clarity.

At this juncture, I invite everyone to accompany me on this new adventure as a content creator. I am in the process of building a following for my newsletter, where I share insights on rediscovering passions and finding ways to monetize them through the myriad of opportunities available online. Although this newsletter began in June, my focus has intensified only recently.

In recent months, I've immersed myself in the fascinating realm of online content creation. While I may not yet be regarded as an ‘expert’ in this area, I possess an eagerness to share what I have learned so far.

Nursing has always been about continuous learning. Although I am transitioning to a new career, my enthusiasm for professional and personal growth remains steadfast.

As I look towards an uncertain future, I am filled with hope that exciting opportunities await. This is the essence of my celebration today—marking a pivotal moment as I turn the page.
