As I take some much-needed time off, I can't help but notice that many of the vacation-themed images on Unsplash predominantly feature beach scenes. It raises an interesting question: what do individuals who live near the coast do when they go on holiday?
Here at Silly Little Dictionary!, our vacation isn’t spent lounging on the sand, although I do have a view of the beach from my current location. That’s all I’ll share about where I am; I prefer to keep my nearly 24,000 followers at a safe distance! Besides, I wouldn’t want to give my many detractors a chance to make a move for the nearly $200 I’ve accumulated over the past year and a half on this platform. (Which I’ve already splurged on Medium subscriptions and office supplies, anyway.)
Today's Spelling Bee features the letters A, E, H, M, T, Y, and P at the center. This puzzle was also featured last year on September 27, with the center letter being T. Unfortunately, I was taking a longer break from Medium at that time and missed writing an article that day. However, on February 3rd, I touched upon a word that also appears in today's game—a nod to the early days of Silly Little Dictionary! I'm sure my five loyal readers will notice some formatting changes compared to my more recent posts.
I also referenced a Medium user who has since been banned, which is unfortunate because he seemed like a genuinely nice person.
