With Copilot, we can swiftly create and tailor reports, generate and modify DAX calculations with ease, compose narrative summaries, and pose questions about our data — all using simple, conversational language.

• Data Factory-Enhanced Data Integration: Fabric collaborates with Data Factory to deliver a streamlined data integration experience. This allows us to unify hybrid and multicloud data environments, leveraging Microsoft Power Query’s user-friendliness alongside Data Factory’s expansive capabilities. This integration is currently in preview, promising to simplify data integration and maximize data value.
• Synapse-Driven Data Engineering: By utilizing Azure Synapse, Fabric empowers data engineers with a robust Spark platform, facilitating data transformation on a large scale and democratizing access through lakehouse architecture. This preview experience has the potential to refine our data engineering processes.
• Synapse Data Warehouse: The Synapse Data Warehouse component of Fabric offers unparalleled SQL performance and scalability. Additionally, Fabric features OneLake — referred to as the "OneDrive for data." OneLake is an extensive, enterprise-wide data lake available as a SaaS service, playing a vital role in Fabric's lake-centric approach by enabling centralized data exploration across the organization. OneLake is presently in preview and lays a solid foundation for our data-driven initiatives.
