Chapter 1: The Quest for Happiness

Have you ever pondered the phrase "I am God"? I recently came to a deeper understanding of its significance. Picture a vast, infinite ocean suddenly fragmented into countless droplets. Each droplet seeks a path to happiness and balance. Some discover solace in religion, while others turn to science—often treated as a new faith, rooted in texts that many of us approach with skepticism. It’s important to recognize that while science has its merits, it can sometimes resemble a chaotic experiment. I liken science to a child who has learned to perform basic tasks but still struggles with the complexities of life. Without nourishing knowledge, it can seem impressive, yet it may lead to confusion.

Some individuals chase happiness through substances, while others find it in acts of kindness, and still others in destruction. Yet, the true essence of happiness often evades them.

What if the internet represents our final opportunity to come together, to acknowledge that we each possess a unique light within us? What if Christ was merely an everyday person trying to illustrate our potential?

“Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do” resonates deeply, even for someone like me who does not identify with any faith. Observing the fervent debates over masks during the pandemic, I realize just how lost we have become. We seem to have forgotten that we harbor an inner light.

Reflecting on my past, I recall a time I was unfaithful to a partner due to the strain of long-distance. Initially, I struggled with guilt and deception, but over time, it became easier to manage. The most painful realization was the numbness that followed; I lost my passion and emotional investment. This experience allowed me to empathize with those who had betrayed me before—they too were searching for feelings, for a sense of life, for the love that comes from being cherished by another.

This guiding light helps us connect with one another, urging us to see humanity as a collective instead of divided by borders and nationalities. Imagine a world where we all recognize our oneness, where we extend care and support to one another. In such a reality, fear would dissipate, and doubt would become obsolete. Unhappiness would be recognized as a pervasive ailment.

I am God. I embody a fragment of that universal divine energy. I draw other divine spirits to connect and resonate with me. The time for unity is now.
