Flowers Welcoming the Arrival of Spring

Chapter 1: The Beauty of Springtime
“To those who seek them, flowers are always present.” — Henri Matisse
Today marks the first day of spring, and in honor of this season, I wish to share some images captured in my courtyard.
Every evening, around five o'clock or once I’ve completed my daily tasks, I retreat to my courtyard. There, I unwind in a chair, catching up on the day’s news, reviewing emails, and scrolling through recent posts on Medium, all while enjoying my favorite tunes.
The serene view from my courtyard brings me peace and allows me to savor the day. I often watch the birds—mostly doves, but occasionally cardinals and bluejays—visiting the feeder I’ve set up.
The array of flowers, with their bright and varied hues, brings me joy. I’ve been observing the garden, which has just begun to show life after the long winter months. The arrival of spring signifies renewal, as the previously dormant plants start to flourish. The blossoms symbolize resilience and revival—an inspiring reminder to hold onto hope.
“The rain will cease, the night will pass, and the pain will diminish. Hope is never truly lost.” — Ernest Hemingway
