However, in our frantic pursuit to evade mortality, we risk losing sight of what makes everyday life genuinely rewarding.
The Quality of Existence
What if living longer doesn't guarantee a better quality of life?
The most cherished moments—forming connections, having a sense of purpose, and experiencing spiritual fulfillment—are not contingent on having perfect health metrics. Could it be that our frantic race to extend life overlooks the simpler joys available to us now?
It's true that evidence suggests certain lifestyle adjustments can enhance longevity, such as maintaining a healthy weight and reducing inflammation.
